10 on Tuesday

1. How do you feel about April Fool’s Day?
I think April Fool’s jokes are usually mean.
2. Do you like birds?
Not really. Maybe if all they did was tweet and not poop.
3. How often do you wear your hair in a ponytail?
I would say at least 6/7 days.
4. Do you believe in love at first sight?
Of course, isn't that what Sean and I had? Just kidding. I believe in like at first sight. I believe that sometimes that turns into love.
5. What is your favorite appetizer?
Nachos or chips and salsa probably.
6. What is your favorite brand of heels?
Heels? I couldn't even tell you a brand of heels I own since I rarely wear them. One day I'd like to own a few cute pairs though, as long as they're comfy!
7. Are you a picky eater?
Not terribly, but a little bit.
8. Is there a tv show you like that nobody ever talks about?
Just about anything on HGTV...
9. Do you prefer hot tea or cold tea?
Cold. I do like a cup of hot every once in a while though.
10. Gayle or Peeta? (If you don’t know how to answer, read The Hunger Games.)
I guess I need to read The Hunger Games so I know.

10 on Tuesday

1. What is the most exciting thing to see on a baseball field?
Sean's answer to this would definitely be a no-hitter, which we've seen only once by Kevin Millwood in 2003. I have to admit that was pretty cool too, but so is seeing a walk-off homerun to win the game. We also saw the Phillies clinch the NLDS for the first time in 2007 in many, many years. In 2008 we were at an extra inning World Series game that they won, and in 2009 we were at the game they won to advance to the World Series.
2. What snacks do you usually get at a game?
I don't usually get much at a game, thanks to having Aidan occupying my lap 99% of the time, even when half my lap was taken by my big pregnant with Abby belly. There aren't many healthy things and I've been trying to make better choices. But, on the occasion I do get something there and we don't bring in our own sandwiches I usually go with nachos or a helmet sundae. And yup, now I'd love to have some nachos. Oh, and of course I get a hot dog on Dollar Dog Nights!
3. Do you yell at the umps? Other players?
I usually just leave the yelling to the other fans. I just cheer.
4. If you could be commissioner for a day, what would you change about MLB?
I would make the stadiums more family friendly. Having just a couple of family restrooms in a huge stadium is just plain stupid. And there would be more family friendly meals and food choices too. Oh, and maybe booster seats to put on the seats so my little guy could see around the big guy in the front row.
5. Which of the following have you seen in person at a baseball game:
a. a rainout? Yes, I've been to a few games where there have been crazy thunderstorms actually.
b. a no-hitter? Yes. Kevin Millwood in 2003. And I can't believe it was that long ago.
c. a grand slam? Yes. Pretty cool.
d. your face on the JumboTron? I think only once, but I have seen us on tv a few times since we're in the 2nd row of left field where homeruns are often hit.
e. a squeeze play? I'm sure I have.
f. a fight? I believe so, and even a clearing of benches...or maybe that was just on tv...we watch too many games.
6. What do you say to people who claim that baseball is boring?
I say No way! It's fun and relaxing, which I think is why I like it. Although sometimes it causes a little anxiety or can be boring, but most of the time relaxing and a good time.
7. What do you think of the recent trend of singing “God Bless America” during the 7th inning stretch?
I really couldn’t care less what they sing during the 7th inning stretch as long as they still sing Take Me Out to the Ball Game.
8. Old school “knickers” or full length pants?
Old school looks pretty darn funny now that just about everyone wears the full length pants.
9. What do you do about the obnoxious drunk guys/girls sitting around you?
I do not like them. Generally I'm mumbling not so nice things and giving dirty looks. And of course hoping that security will escort them out. Thankfully we sit in a pretty good section, and we're in row 2 so that means less seats around us.
10. For a game you’re watching in person, what’s your limit on extra innings? How many before you just bail?
Again. It depends. Does the game mean anything? Who is playing? What time is it? Do I have to go to work tomorrow? Is it cold outside? Is it raining? Am I hungry? Who am I with? The longest game I've been at was 16 innings on July 2nd and 3rd, 2004. It just so happened to be a fireworks game too. So believe it or not, when the game ended after midnight...5 hours later...they had the fireworks. And they were worth it.
My thoughts on life right now:
Only 21 days until Opening Day! I can't wait! I love baseball season. Think Aidan can pass for three again this year? He can sit on my lap again. Two kids, two laps, too uncomfortable!

10 on Tuesday

1. What did you do this weekend?
We did a lot! Friday night I went over Lauren's house to visit and meet brand new baby Aubrey who was born on February 19. It was nice to hang out with the girls, munch on some food, and just relax (and of course enjoy some Abby time while there too!). Sean and Aidan went to Mr. Kingsway where Cait was escorting Mr. December. Saturday we did some straightening up, I ran to Deptford for a few returns/errands, and then that night we went to see Jason play at Auburn Road Winery. It was great to finally be able to see him, between being pregnant and having a newborn we haven't seen him much, and there was no excuse since he was playing early and less than 20 minutes away. There was a great turn out and he was great as usual. Oh, and the wine wasn't so bad either. Sunday morning was church, then in the afternoon was the Rite of Election. Since I'm going through the RCIA program to get confirmed, all candidates and catechumens went to the Rite and heard beautiful music that reminded me of a Mexican vacation at times and met the Bishop. That was the really cool part. After that, we went back to Steph and Brian's for dinner. Whew! This could have been a longer post in itself!
2. Do you prefer short fingernails or long fingernails?
I prefer short.
3. What is your favorite use for Pinterest?
Dreaming? Wasting time? Too bad I don’t have endless time, space, money, and sweet DIY skills.
4. Do you sleep with your mouth open?
Pretty sure the only time I do is when I'm sick.
5. Where did you have the best pizza you’ve ever eaten?
I'm a huge fan of Mack & Manco's down in Ocean City.
6. What do you eat for breakfast on weekdays?
Usually oatmeal, but Sean has been kindly making me a yummy and quick coffee cup scramble (2 eggs, scrambled, made in the microwave.).
7. Do you watch awards shows? Why or why not?
Eh, sometimes, but I don't make it a point to put them on.
8. Can you whistle? Snap? Curl your tongue? Bend down and touch your palms to the ground?
Whistle: yes, not very loud
Snap: yes
Curl my tongue: yes
Bend down and touch my palms to the ground: on a good day
9. What email service do you use?
My real and important mail goes to Gmail, but junk goes to Yahoo. And then there's Outlook for work. Sheesh.
10. What is your favorite outdoor activity?
Sitting in a beach chair. A close second is taking the kids for a walk preferably on the boardwalk.
{Aubrey Grace born 2.19.12}
{My favorites: Kind Of Blue & Blessington}

My thoughts on life right now:
Okay, so now that I've done this great post. Great because it has photos. I need to go back and add photos into all the posts that I haven't added them to {Christmas, Abby's milestones-4,5,6, and anything else}. Oh, and I also really want to get back into blogging at least once or twice a week. I have been away from the computer for a while, which while a nice break, I miss writing all this non-sense down. It can be kind of therapeutic sometimes, and we all need that.

10 on Tuesday

1. How do you feel about Groundhog’s Day?
I think it is fun for little kids and kind of ridiculous how some adults take it so seriously. I mean, Spring doesn't come until 6 weeks later anyway, right?
2. What color are your fingernails right now?
I guess you could call it au natural.
3. Do you like riddles?
It depends. Sometimes they are just annoying.
4. When you were 10, how old did you think “old” was? At your current age, how old do you think “old” is?
When I was little, I probably thought an “old” person was 50. Now I think it depends on the person. Someone can be old at 60, but others can be old at 90.
5. Do you wish on stars?
Yup.
6. Do you recycle?
Yes.
7. On a scale from 1-10, how good of a cook are you?
Maybe like a 7. I’m not very confident in my skills, nor do I usually have what I need to actually cook something.
8. Do you color your hair? Professionally or at home?
I stopped doing it at home when I was getting it all over the place, even in rooms that I didn't dye my hair in. So now I get it done professionally maybe four times a year.
9. One a scale from 1-10, how do you rate your manners?
About a 7. I could work on them a bit.
10. Who are the last 5 people you have texted?1. Cait
2. Meg
3. Sean
4. Lauren
5. Kathy

10 on Tuesday

1. What is your favorite online-only store?
Amazon. And I always find a way to get above the $25 mark to get the Free Super Saver Shipping.
2. Do you enjoy wrapping gifts?
I do, but I've gotten smart and started leaving off the ribbons and bows since no one seems to care about them anyway.
3. What is the temperature in your city today?
As I type this, it is 46 degrees and rainy. Yuck.
4. What time do you eat dinner?
It depends on what we’re having or eating out/in, but it’s usually around 6:30, give or take an hour.
5. Will you be making New Years Resolutions?
I don’t think so. Well, other than to lose 10 more pounds before April, but that's been part of my weight loss goal since after I had Abby. 35 pounds down already! woohoo!
6. How old is your oldest pair of shoes that you still wear?
I would say a 6 years for a couple of pairs of work shoes I've got that I bought before I started teaching in my current district.
7. Do you have any restaurant phone numbers saved in your phone?
No, but that doesn't mean I haven't googled them from the iPhone.
8. What is your favorite and least favorite letter to write in cursive?
Cursive? What's that? LOL. I've got my very own writing style which is a mix of cursive and print. I dislike teaching cursive to my students too because it takes too much thought but my handwriting always looks great on the whiteboard, so I guess I should do it more.
9. Do you know any good riddles?
Not that I can think of.
10. How do you feel about snow?
I love snow when it is freshly fallen and clean, but once it's all slushy and gray and stepped in it's no longer pretty. I'd much rather have snow right now than the rain that's falling.

10 on Tuesday

1. How do you eat your eggs?
Usually on a sandwich, and if not, fried or scrambled.
2. Do you volunteer?
Eh, no, but I'd like to. I have in the past though.
3. What’s your favorite brand of jeans?
Currently nothing. I've got some Express jeans that currently fit well in the legs and butt but not belly (thanks kids!) and I've got some that fit well in the belly but are huge in the legs and butt. I'm in search of well, haven't even tried any on since after having Abby a great pair or the loss of a few pounds around the midsection.
4. What was your child’s first word? Or what was your first word?
Aidan's was "ma" :)
5. Can you french braid?
Not really, but I better learn for Abby.
6. Do you prefer wide rule, college rule, or blank paper?
College rule. Wide rule reminds me of teaching and blank isn't organized enough for me.
7. Is there a specific treat you always make during the holidays?
Not really. Man, I'm boring
8. Do you have a KitchenAid mixer? Do you want one?
Yes I have one and I think it’s amazing. In my dream home it will have a special place on the counter.
9. What kind of computer do you use?
I use a MacBook Pro {thanks Sean!}.
10. Favorite Christmas movie?
Probably Elf or the Grinch with Jim Carrey.
My thoughts on life right now:
I should not be blogging since my house is not decorated and I have lots of cleaning and shopping to do before our party this weekend. Ugh. Time flies.

10 on Tuesday

1. What are 3 things that are on your Christmas wishlist?
Sneakers, soap/mask from Lush, lightscoop for my camera.
2. What’s your favorite Christmas song?
Oh Holy Night probably.
3. Do you have a favorite band or singer that sings it especially awesome?
Not that I can think of.
4. Have you heard about the website goodreads?
I have and think I'm a member, but not totally sure.
5. What are 3 books you want to read?
I HAVE NO IDEA. I was thinking about how I want a good book to read, but nothing really sounds good to me right now.
6. Do you hunt deer?
Nope.
7. Have you started Christmas shopping? Are you completely finished?
I started and am more than 50% done, but Sean's the most difficult person to shop for so I still have to work on him and a few others.
8. Did you shop on Black Friday? What was the best deal you got?
I did. Best deal was 3 dress shirts and a tie for under $50 for my pollyanna.
9. What’s one holiday tradition your family has?
We open on gift on Christmas Eve.
10. How many blogs do you read? Do you subscribe/unsubscribe often or do you purge every once in a while?
Probably about 10. I stick with the same basic ones, and will occasionally add/delete one from the reader.

10 on Tuesday

1. Do you wear glasses, contacts, or are you one of those perfect eyed people?
I wear contacts and have since college. I got glasses in high school mainly for driving and to see far if need be. My eyes aren't that bad, but contacts/glasses make things much clearer.
2. What is the next item you are going to purchase?
I have a decent amount of Christmas gifts to buy still, but may order Aidan a Fisher Price Nativity set tonight if I remember.
3. Have you ever watched Judge Judy or any other real court show?
Nope.
4. How do you feel about fake nails?
I think they look nice when they have a natural look. Too long is just a mess. I wore them for school dances, weddings, etc. I really like the gel nails now but they're just not in the budget.
5. What is your favorite sport to watch?
Baseball. Nothing else even comes close.
6. If you could create your own Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor, what would it be and what would it be named?
I'm pretty sure all the combos I love already exist, so I'm no fun here.
7. Do you have any scars?
I scar fairly easily which sucks. My favorite scar yup, you can have a fave is where both my babies came out by c-section. That's my daily reminder of how they got here.
8. Does your pet’s name fit them? Is there a more appropriate name?
Toby definitely fits the dog. Toby Tyler fits too. :)
9. What is your favorite television show theme song?
I can't say I have a favorite. Nor can I really remember any off the top of my head.
10. What was your favorite activity on the playground?
The jungle gym. Swings made me feel dizzy, as did the merry-go-round, but the jungle gym could be our imagination's castle, house, jail, etc.

10 on Tuesday

1. What are you doing for Thanksgiving this year?
I'll be cooking here for about 10 people. This is the third Thanksgiving we've hosted and since everyone brings at least one dish, it makes it much easier.
2. What are you most thankful for this year?
Definitely my family and friends and our very happy and healthy baby Abby.
3. Do you have any traditions on Thanksgiving? The parade? Football? Long naps?
Wake up, watch a little of the parade with Aidan (and now Abby too) in our bed, then get to work cooking. The TV is always on...first the parade then football. After we feast, we usually scope out the Black Friday ads for any great deals.
4. Is it called stuffing or dressing? Is it in the bird or a separate dish?
It’s called stuffing. It does not belong in your turkey. That's just gross because then either the turkey or the stuffing won't cook hot enough in the middle and then you risk getting sick from the bacteria.
5. Do you cook?
I do cook. This will be the second time I made the turkey, the first year I had Sean's mom bring it because I was afraid to ruin it. Love the Reynold's oven bags for the turkey...it keeps it moist and there's no basting required. I also make a good amount of the sides.
6. What is your favorite dish?
The mashed potatoes with my mom's sweet potato casserole in a close second.
7. What is your dessert preference?
I love pumpkin pie, although I can’t usually enjoy it as much as I’d like since I’m so full!
8. What is your favorite Thanksgiving memory?
I don't really have a favorite, but just enjoy that family comes together to eat at the same table.
9. Do you plan to shop on Black Friday?
No! I hate the crowds and the lines and especially the stupid people. If someone really wanted me to go with them I would, but I feel like I can find good deals on other days besides BF.
10. What are you most dreading about Thanksgiving this year?
The possibility of gaining weight from all the overeating I'm likely to do. I've been doing great with losing weight and I'm afraid my self-control is going to get lost at the holidays. But, I need to remind myself that I'm the one in control of my body. Oh, and that it means I've only got a month left as a stay at home mom. That sucks the most. I love being home with my kids.
My thoughts on life right now:
Hoping the turkey tastes great.
Hoping for leftovers, but not too many.
Thankful for so many things.

10 on Tuesday

1. What are your pantry staples?
Pasta, pasta sauce, mac n cheese, cereal, oatmeal, ketchup, soup, Tostitos, snacks.
2. What are your refrigerator staples?
Milk, yogurt, OJ, eggs, and cheese.
3. You already look like Heidi Klum (or your favorite supermodel). Now, what are the top three non-physical things you would change about yourself?
I’d be accomplish more of my goals/ideas. I’d be more relaxed. And I’d be better at making "mom" friends.
4. What’s holding you back from your dream job? (If you already have your dream job, how did you get there?)
Bills, bills, bills. Hah, seriously. I think if I didn't have student loans, and we chose to live a simpler life with less luxuries (yes, I'd consider most of what we have a luxury and not a necessity like the cable sports package), I would seriously be a stay at home mom. That's truly my dream job. If I could do that until my kids were in elementary school I'd be thrilled. And, if not, then something with kids. I love babies too, so maybe something with them. I've always considered being a neonatal nurse, but that means more school, more loans, and the cycle would never end. A few days ago I decided since I have to work now I'll do it so that I can watch my grandchildren when the time comes.
5. You have $500 to spend but it has to be on one item only. Go.
Laser hair removal. It would cut my shower time in half. :)
6. What is something that you are embarrassed to admit you buy on a regular basis?
hmm...I can't think of anything. Well, besides our slight addiction with having tortilla chips in the house. There always has to be a back-up bag on hand.
7. What’s in/on your bed every night?
Two pillows, one sheet, one knit blanket, one down comforter, myself, my husband, and my dog.
8. What is a non-necessity item that, no matter how expensive it gets or how tight your budget if, you will always find room for it?
hmmm...another one that I'm not sure of. Probably cable tv though.
9. What is the weirdest sandwich you’ve ever made?
I don't make weird sandwiches.
10. Would you rather: Be banned from Pinterest forever, but gain a million captive Twitter followers; or, never get on Facebook again but gain five thousand blog readers?
None of the above. I'm just getting started on Pinterest. And if I had more time or actually accomplished tasks I dream about, then I might be sad about being banned. I could care less about Twitter followers, it's my sane way of talking to myself basically. I'm a Facebook addict, so I couldn't live without that. I don't know if I'd want that many blog readers in my business.

10 on Tuesday

1. What’s your favorite television show  for each day of the week?
Sunday – America's Funniest Home Videos (with Aidan)
Monday – Castle
Tuesday – Glee
Wednesday –
Thursday – Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice
Friday – Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
Saturday –
2. How many times do you wear your jeans before you wash them?
Usually twice, sometimes three times. Lately it's been once since Abby is the spit up queen.
3. What is your favorite pasta shape?
I like all pasta shapes, but my favorite is probably penne.
4. Do you read newspapers?
Yes, but it's usually day(s) old news since I don't make time to read it.
5. Do you sleep in socks?
Sometimes, but then I usually wake up and take them off because I get hot.
6. Favorite genre of movies?
Romantic comedies.
7. How do you feel about wrestling?
I think mat wrestling is okay, but the germs and outfits and possible skin diseases gross me out. "Pro" wrestling is just plain stupid.
8. Should men pluck their eyebrows?
For maintenance YES. If there is a unibrow, it's got to go.
9. Do you have dimples?
Nope.
10. Do you like to camp?
I'm a scaredy cat. If I can lock a door to a cabin then I might be okay.

10 on Tuesday

1. What is your favorite month?
Well it used to be April because Sean, Aidan, and I all share a birthday month, but now Abby is an August girl so picking April isn't so fair. Maybe June because it's the beginning of summer and end of a school year!
2. What is the best candy to get while trick or treating?
Snickers...I never buy them for myself but they are oh so good.
3. What kind of pen do you use?
I prefer the Pilot G5 in a few different colors. If that's not around than something that writes smoothly.
4. You go to a new Italian restaurant, what is your go-to order?
Maybe a tomato and basil pasta or fettucine alfredo.
5. If you could choose to have any celebrity’s hair, who’s would you choose?
I'd want something long and with volume, maybe a little curl to it. I can't think of anyone specifically right now though.
6. What’s your favorite board game?
I'd have to say Sorry. It's fun and doesn't take too long.
7. Do you know how to play poker?
Umm no.
8. What do you think about Old Navy commercials?
They're a little annoying, but always make me want to go buy what the models are wearing, so I guess they're effective.
9. What hurts worse- a stubbed toe or a paper cut?
A stubbed toe hurts right away and makes me angry for a split second. A paper cut burns and lingers for days.
10. What’s your favorite kind of pie?
Either pumpkin or apple. Yum.

10 on Tuesday

1. What is the worst compliment you have ever received?
no idea, I try to forget about not so nice things
2. Did you/would you tell everyone the name of your baby before they were born, keep it a secret, or not choose until after they were born?
With Aidan we didn't tell anyone his name just that he was a boy. We did, however, tell everyone what our girl name would have been, so when we found out we were having a girl this time around a few people remembered our girl choice and we I decided it didn't need to be a secret. Oh, and the rumor that we'd end up with everything personalized and with her name on it is wrong. I don't have a single thing with her name on it. Not one single thing.
3. What is your favorite candle smell?
Right now it's Iced Caramel Macchiato.
4. What is the best birthday/Christmas gift you received when you were pregnant or the best birthday/Christmas gift you gave a pregnant person that was really appreciated?
I had Aidan the day before my 26th birthday, so that is probably the best gift. I also got a gift certificate for a massage and pedicure when I was pregnant with Aidan and that was amazing. I found out I was pregnant with Abby on Christmas Eve and that was the best Christmas gift ever especially since we had a loss in October.
5. Who was your favorite teacher?
Mrs. Sheppard when I was in grade school. I had her for K, 1st, and 2nd grade. She looped with the class each year. I remember things being so fun and her being a mother-like figure.
6. What is the best game/activity you have ever played at a baby shower?
It's usually baby bingo, I guess. A good game to play though is setting the timer and whoever's gift is being opened when the time is up gets a gift. Keeps everyone involved and watching the gifts being opened.
7. What was your major in college and did you end up using it in your career?
My associate's is in Human Development-Early Childhood; Bachelor's in Early Childhood & Elementary Education; Master's in Special Ed. I'm a special ed teacher at the k-3 level, so yes, I use it. Now if only I didn't have loans!!!
8. What is a beauty product you swear by?
Cover Girl mascara and more importantly, Chapstick!
9. What is the kindest thing a stranger has ever done for you?
Hold doors open, give up their seat on the shuttle in Disney, that's all I can think of.
10. If you could recommend one new baby necessity, what would it be?
I'd say the bouncy seat for the first couple of months and then the Jumperoo...both lifesavers if I ever want(ed) to get anything done! Oh, and the SwaddleMe!!! Aidan was swaddled for his first 9 months, yup, 9! Abby will be too if it means she'll sleep through the night.

10 on Tuesday

1. You’re packing for a week long vacation, do you pack ahead of time or wait until the last possible minute to pack?
I make a list way ahead of time but don't pack until three days before, at the most.
2. Are you a light or heavy packer?
I am a very heavy packer. Always bring more, you never know what you'll need.
3. What are your favorite road trip snacks?
Water, something sweet and something salty.
4. Do you take any reading material along?
Always. I usually read at least one book during our annual NWW vacations, and if it's just a short trip I'll bring magazines usually.
5. Do you prefer to drive or fly to your vacation destination?
Definitely fly, but we don't go far enough to fly to most of the places we go, so we drive.
6. What is your favorite time of the year to take your vacation?
We always go to NWW in the summer, which I love. We went to Disney in May and it was hot. I'd prefer Spring or Fall probably.
7. Where is your favorite place to vacation?
I love the beach. Punta Cana was fun, Riviera Maya was amazing, and even though there was no beach our trip to Europe was something I want to do again. Hands down my favorite vacation to date was to Disney though. I can't wait to do that again.
8. You are vacationing in the mountains, what is your favorite thing to do while there?
Sit by a fireplace and watch the snow fall outside. I'd like to ski and could, just not with Sean. I'll never make him ski again. Let's just say he's better at other things.
9. You are at the beach for your vacation,  do you like to take it easy on the beach or play all day in the water?
Take it easy!
10. While your on vacation do you prefer to eat out every night or cook some of your own meals?
I'd prefer to eat out all the time, but that gets expensive unless it's all inclusive or part of a meal plan that's already been paid for.

10 on Tuesday

All about Pasta
1. Red Sauce or White Sauce?
I love both but we usually have a red sauce, plus, it's healthier.
2. Do you prefer pasta you can twirl or stab?
I prefer pasta I can stab because it's easier and cleaner, and since Sean cuts his pasta anyway it eliminates one step for his slow-eating self.
3. Baked or boiled?
Boiled. But there is something seriously special about baked pasta dishes. Crusty cheese…
4. Do you like meat in your sauce or do you kick it vegetarian style?
I have never made a meat sauce, but will throw in meatballs every once in a while.
5. Where have you had your very best pasta ever?
I have had a ton of pasta in my days and none stands out more than the other.
6. What is your favorite pasta dish?
Does mac and cheese count? I love Applebee's Three Cheese Chicken Penne, my cherry tomato pasta toss, and also my garlic shrimp and broccoli pasta
7. Do you serve meatballs when you make spaghetti or just do a meat sauce?
See #4
8. Why type (rice, whole wheat, egg, etc) of noodles do you use?
Usually whole wheat, but sometimes regular or egg noodles
9. What type of meats or vegetables do you put in your sauce?
I love roasted cherry tomatoes! I also use broccoli, chicken, or shrimp.
10. Do you make a “Sunday gravy” to use throughout the week or do you just open a jar of whatever and heat it up? (No judgment on this one!)
I wish I had a recipe for that! I have a few select brands I prefer, but usually it's whatever is cheapest/on sale/have a coupon for/all of the above!

lately it feels like every hour, but it used to be every few days

My thoughts on life right now:
It's a fabulous thing when both kids nap at the same time...too bad it happens once a week for about 20 minutes.
I'd like to start blogging more.
I lost a pound!!! 19 more to go.

10 on Tuesday

1. What is your dream vacation?
Probably spending time on an island somewhere at an all-inclusive...that or Disney in the fanciest hotel they've got.

2. What has been your favorite trip so far in your life?
I LOVED LOVED LOVED our trip to Disney this past Spring with Aidan. Sean and I had a blast but seeing the look on Aidan's face was priceless.

3. If you and one of your best friends could go anywhere in the world for one week, where would it be and why?
Again, an island...but maybe somewhere like Tahiti or Australia.

4. Have you ever booked a trip using an online deal? How did it go?
I have not. I'm not that brave, yet.

5. What’s your favorite thing to do while you’re on vacation?
Eat. LOL. Someone else is cooking and cleaning and I don't have to worry about a thing.

6. Have you ever missed an opportunity to take a trip that you regret?
I don't think so, however I wish Aidan was more than 4 months old at the time of the summer olympics in China in 2008 so we could have gone with Sean's family.

7. You travel far away from home and get stranded with no way to buy anything, what’s the one thing you can’t live without?
Chapstick.

8. What’s one of your favorite traveling memories?
Seeing Aidan's face light up at the parade at Magic Kingdom the first day we were in Disney.

9. All included resort or backpacking? Why?
Oh please, all inclusive for sure. All the food, drinks, and entertainment my heart desires...and probably a beautiful pool, beach, and room to go with it. :)

10. Are you more of a lie on the beach kind of person on vacation, or do you prefer to see the sights?
Hmmm...I really love the beach, but also don't mind seeing some sights as long as there's time to just hang out too.
